Greetings,
M Food Co., like many University departments, is facing staffing shortages. As a result, we are temporarily adjusting the service hours in residential dining facilities to ensure that we can provide the highest quality of service for all students. We ask for your understanding and patience as we continue our efforts to hire as many employees as needed, including student employees.
Modified Residential Hours of Operation
Effective Friday, September 16, 2022, dining halls will have modified hours of operation, including:
- Suspension of late night dining at Pioneer Hall
- All residential dining facilities will close at 8:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings this weekend
- Comstock, Middlebrook, and Sanford dining facilities will open at 10:30am on Saturday and Sunday
An updated list of the residential dining hall hours can be found on the Dine on Campus website. Residential markets in Centennial, Sanford and Middlebrook will be open until 12:00am
To-Go Program
We realize many students take advantage of Late Night to grab a bite to eat during evening study breaks and other activities. As a reminder, each student living in University housing was provided with a container for participating in the M Food Co. To-Go Program. We encourage you to use this program to take additional items with you if you would like. Please remember that if you are dining in AND taking items to-go, 2 meal swipes are required.

As the largest student employer on campus, we have a number of work opportunities available this spring. Positions are available in the dining halls (super convenient!) or at one of the many retail restaurants on campus. We offer flexible schedules and accept work-study (if applicable).
